Nice pluggin. One problem : Can we scroll the photos when they are unfolded ? Thx for the answer !
Thanks, Not sure what you mean by unfolded. The side gallery can be set to absolute position so it will scroll with the page if the gallery is being cut off. Is this what you meant? -Nolan
Sorry, i just want to slide the photos in upsize position. It is possible ?
I am sorry I am not following - are you asking if the slider will slide up instead of left or right? The slide can be positioned on the left or right side of the page and slide left and right only. If this is not what you are asking you can email me at nuvuscript[email protected] and we can discuss it further Thanks, -Nolan
WOW, this looks really sweet, and can be very handy.
One thing I noticed using IE9 and Chrome, is that the thumbs disappear below my screen,[ 1600 x 900 ] and there is no scroll bar to get to them.
Excellent plugin Good Luck with sales
The demo is set for fixed positioning, it can be set to absolute and this would not be an issue. Thanks, Nolan
Hi, how do you create a gallery? Is it through the native wp gallery function or?
How do you add a gallery? The instructions are pretty vague, once gallery is created do I give it a custom class? How do I add the sidegallery to the page once gallery is created? Where do I put the code:
The code would look like this on any page you wish to insert the sidegallery: <div class="sidegallery" data-top="10%" data-width="30%"> [gallery columns="4" ids="195,196,197,198,199,201,202,203,204,205,207,208,209,210" link="file"] </div> Just put a wordpress gallery inside a div with a class of "sidegallery". There is an installation text file in the package as well as an admin-settings-sidegallery doc built into the plugin for your reference. Hope this helps, -Nolan
How to default to work with the attached pictures to my post?
It only works with a wordpress gallery inserted on the page.
Hello Nolan, Very nice and creative plugin there ! Kudos for that :-) I have one question: is it possible to navigate from one picture to the other when they are opened in the big lightbox ? Cause apparently we need to close it then chose another picture then click on this other picture to open a lightbox again. I'd like to have 2 arrows (prev - next) to see all pictures in the biggest possible size by just clicking on these arrows. Best regards, Florence - Le Referencement c'est pas ce qu'on croit !
I am making certain adjustments to achieve this - I will let you know when the update is approved. Thanks, -Nolan
Thanks a lot.
The update is complete - Check out the live preview to make sure this is what you wanted :) Thanks, -Nolan
Thanks Nolan, but I don't see any arrow to go to the next / previous slide: http://i.imgur.com/3hfl1EP.jpg
You have to hover over the left or right side of the image for the arrows to show - try again and let me know if it is working for you. Thanks, -Nolan
I did but it's not working. I'm using Chrome. I've recorded a screencast to show you: http://screencast.com/t/nGorF7et7shK
The update is not working in this screencast so you need to clear your browsers cache under settings in Chrome. When clicking on any image it will load into lightbox. -Nolan
Hi thanks for the wonderful plugin. I have a few questions and am wondering whether it is possible to alter the code to do the following: 1. I would like to remove the ability to expand the images when they appear in the lightbox function (and also remove the icon to click on for expansion) 2. when the larger image is clicked on it displays strangely and the close icon is not visible. Is it possible to remove this feature and just have the image appear along with the other thumbnails as part of the lightbox when clicked. Thanks
This is a really nice plug-in, just had a quick question. Are your images SEO friendly?
The plugin clones a Wordpress [gallery ] that is on your page and inserts it in the side gallery container so if the gallery on the page is SEO friendly then yes. Hope this helps, -Nolan
Looks like a nice plugin. Question, how wide & tall can the top, larger picture in the fly-out by? Is there anyplace to read the documentation for the plugin? thanks
The feature image scales to the width of the slide out container so if you have a width of 30% for the container the image will scale to that width and keep the width to height ratio of the image. I do not have documentation for you to see but here is a sample code that you would put on a page: <div class="sidegallery" data-top="12%" data-width="20%" > [gallery columns="3" ids="195,196,197,198,199,201,202,203,204,205,207" link="file"] </div> Thanks, -Nolan
