Pristine Slider

Pristine Slider is a unique product, the first of it’s kind. It’s a fully interactive slider, written entirely in CSS, no JavaScript. That makes it incredibly light and snappy, it works on all modern browsers. And for our beloved Internet Explorer there is a JS fallback included, so no worries there.

The slider is easily customizable through the options page in the dashboard. You can change various settings like timings, transition duration, transition effect, width, height etc. Additionally, you can easily style the slider with CSS.

The slider with four effects built-in, you can see the all in action in the Live Preview:

  • Ken Burns
  • Slide
  • Fade
  • 2D Transforms

I haven't thought about this, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. The only limitation right now is that you can change the number of slides only from the dashboard, that's one of the things that CSS can't handle by itself. So the plugin generates an HTML file in the plugin folder, from which it gets the markup on every page load. If you dynamically change the content of the slides (but not the number of slides) I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work. I'm editing the video that I just recorded, it should be up within an hour or two. In that video I'm going over the installation and how this plugin actually works, so I think you'll get a better idea of what's possible. Cheers!

Live preview looks great but doesn't work as well once installed. Also receiving an error on the plugin dashboard. Restore default also seems broken.

Apparently not yet, right now it only supports one slider, you can use the same slider in multiple places. I would love multiple sliders as well, this works great on sites based on jquery as it has no conflicting issues.

Amazing! Please make more screenshots especially of the backend/settings of the plugin. And one video per effect would would be nice too. Especially interested in how the "Transform" effect would be set up. Thanks.

I don't see why it wouldn't. The CSS classes are pretty unique, and I used as many best practices as I could in the PHP code.

They approved the update a couple of hours ago, but seems like it takes time for the video to show up in the product page. (the video preview needs to be approved by a reviewer as well)

Still having demo issues. It looks great, but with the 3 month demo issue....I'm afraid of getting something that may not be supported in a timely manner.

most slider functions do not work in your demo with IE 10 and lower, IE 9 is broken. It also doesn't function 100% in opera.

Fantastic work, love it! An option will be added for insert the slider into any page? I see that it works for a Home slider, I just want to insert this slider in a few pages, directly in the content (with multiple sliders configurations/save in the admin + shortcode to put it in the content). Thanks ;)

Multiple sliders aren't supported right now. You can have the same slider on multiple pages, but you can't have more than one slider with it's own unique content.
